Stunning locations in the UK
Working and serving in the RN, MN, or a keen radio amateur, sometimes allows you to see some really stunning locations. Many do join with a desire to travel the world. It can be a passion shared with radio amateurs who can often plan visits to unusual (and sometimes remote) locations. Whilst travel around the world and visiting tourist hot spots can be wonderful, it's important not to forget that travel right here amongst our home nations can be pretty stunning too. The photo at the top of this article was taken last year as a result of such travels. You have the stunning Forth railway bridge viewed from the South Queensferry side. And just today, the RN have also had the privilege of exercising the Freedom of Edinburgh as described on the RN website here.
